Teachers are pretty amazing people. They work so hard to teach kids how to read, write, spell, do math, and so many other things. I’m really grateful for the awesome teachers my kids have had and for all the hard work they do. As the end of the year approaches, I always like to give the teachers a little gift to show how much I appreciate them. I love using my Cricut and Silhouette to make quick and easy gifts for teachers. With eight kids, you can bet I’ve made quite a few gifts over the years! And, there so many other bloggers who have done the same thing. So I thought I’d put together a little collection of teacher appreciation gift ideas you can make with your Silhouette or Cricut. These teacher gifts are perfect for Christmas, Teacher Appreciation Week, Year-End Gifts, and everything in between.

Quick & Easy Silhouette & Cricut Teacher Gifts You Can Make
Teacher Mug
This teacher mug is not only cute, but it’s also super easy to make. With just a little vinyl and a Cricut or Silhouette, you can transform a boring white mug into a personalized gift for a teacher. To complete the gift, I placed an apple and caramel dip inside the mug. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to apply the vinyl to the mug so it’s straight. To complete the gift, I placed an apple and caramel dip inside a tied it off with some cute twine. You can get the free SVG file to make this mug in the SVG library.
Teacher Subway Art Sign
This cute teacher subway art sign is another quick and easy project. You can make your own sign blank or you can find them at most craft stores. I’ll show you how I repurposed a small sign from the dollar store into a cute sign for the teacher’s desk. This project uses several colors of vinyl, so layering with registration marks is a must. Adding registration marks is the easiest way to be sure your vinyl is lined up just right. You can get the free SVG file to make this sign in the SVG library.

In Case of Emergency Funny Gift
I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have a classroom full of 20-30 kids, but I’m sure it can be a bit chaotic. Sometimes, a little humor and chocolate are what a teacher needs to get through the day. This gift idea is the perfect combination of both! I’ll show you how easy it is to create this one of kind gift for teachers (or anyone else you love chocolate). You can get the free SVG file to make this funny gift in the SVG library.
Teachers Change the World Sign
Teachers really do change the world and this little sign is the perfect way to let your teacher know it. For this sign, I used a premade sign I bought at the Dollar Store that was perfect for a repurposing project. It was cute, it just needed a little makeover. I painted it and added some vinyl to create this cute sign. You can get the free SVG file to make this sign in the SVG library.
Stenciled Teacher Clipboard
This stenciled clipboard is not only functional, but it also makes a super cute decoration for the classroom. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to use stencil vinyl and a little paint to transform a plain boring clipboard into this darling gift for a teacher! You can get the free SVG file to make this clipboard in the SVG library.
Teacher Pencil Holder
Teachers always need supplies like pencils, scissors, markers, and so on. So, I thought it would be fun to make a cute container to store all their goodies in. To make this gift, you just need some type of container, a Cricut or Silhouette, and a little bit of vinyl. I found some cute little plastic paint cans that were perfect. I added the vinyl to dress it up a bit. Then, I just added the pencils and the gift was good to go.
Teacher Gift Basket
If your teacher likes treats (and who doesn’t), then this gift idea is perfect. I found this cute green basket at the dollar store and added the fun apple-shaped vinyl decal. Then, I filled the basket up with a bunch of yummy treats for the teacher. I wrapped it all up in cellophane and added a cute note and bow.
Teacher Tote Bag
How about this cute tote bag for your teacher. These bags are big enough to add some great classroom supplies like wipes, tissue, hand sanitizer, and so much more. You can use your Cricut or Silhouette to cut out a cute apple decal and add it to the bag.
Teacher Quote Sign
I really love this quote about teachers. Over the years I have put it on so many signs of different sizes and shapes. It always turns out to be such a cute gift! I use whatever wood I have laying around and change the layout of the quote to fit my board. That is the wonderful thing about using SVG files with a Cricut or Silhouette, you’re not stuck with using the file exactly as it comes. You can add and delete, shift around elements, and resize, so it fits your project.
Teacher Tumblers
These teacher tumblers are so cute and so easy to make and I know that teachers love to have something to keep their drinks cold. In this tutorial, Ginger walks you through the steps of cutting the design with your Cricut using Cricut Design Space, but the process is very similar for Silhouette cutters. Then, she shows you how to weed, tape, and transfer the design onto the tumbler. Don’t forget the kisses to make this gift extra sweet!
Keep Calm Teacher T-Shirt
What teacher wouldn’t love to have a shirt like this?!? It’s the perfect keep calm quote for a teacher, I just love it. In this tutorial, Lauren shows you how to use your Silhouette machine (Cricut would be very similar) to cut the design out of heat-transfer vinyl (HTV) and apply it onto a shirt. She also shares the free SVG file so you can make your own!
Teacher Thank You Card
How about just making an adorable thank you card? Sometimes a handwritten note is one of the best gifts you can give a teacher to tell her thanks for all her amazing work. Then, you can sweeten the gift by adding the candy to create the look of an apple!
Teacher Wall Art
I just love how cute this wall art turned out, it’s just so unique! What a fun way to use your Cricut or Silhouette to add dimension to a framed piece of artwork. In the tutorial, Jen shows you how to cut and layer all the pieces to make this cute gift. She also shares the SVG file for free!
Personalized Pencil Teacher Gift
Give your teacher a pencil that will never get lost! This darling wooden pencil is super easy to make, even if you only have basic woodworking skills. It only takes a few straight cuts with a saw to create the pencil shape. Then, just add a few coats of paint to create the look of a pencil. Finally, use your Cricut or Silhouette to cut out the teacher’s name in vinyl and stick it onto the pencil.
Lego Soap Teacher Gift
This cute gift is sure to be a hit with teachers and students! With all the germs going around schools, this is a great gift to give to any teacher. It’s colorful, unique, and functional. That’s the kind of gift teachers love. As a bonus, it’s incredibly quick to make and only requires a few supplies. Check out the tutorial to see how to make your own!
Personalized Teacher Hand Sanitzer
Like the hand soap, this personalized hand sanitizer makes a great gift for any teacher. Just use your Cricut or Silhouette to cut out the teacher’s name and then apply it to the bottle. You can also add cute school graphics to dress up the bottle even more!
DIY Glitter Teacher Keychain
Make your favorite teacher their own personalized keychain! You can use your Cricut or Silhouette to cut out any phrase or name you want to add to the keychain! This crafty mom shows you all the steps to turn a plain acrylic keychain into something fabulous. I love this project and I really want to try something similar.
Teacher Gift Card Holder
I love to give teachers gift cards and this diy gift card holder is such a cool way to gift them. You need two sheets of cardstock, a Cricut or Silhouette cutter, and a little bit of glue to make these cute gift card holders. Get a gift card to where your teacher loves to shop, attach to the cardstock insert, and place it inside the decorative sleeve. This is such and quick and easy gift to make!
