I know summer is almost over, but I created this design a couple of months ago and thought I better make something with it before summer is gone!
This was a really easy project.  The hardest part was deciding which colors to use.  I started off by painting my boards white (each board is about 10″ x 2.5″). After the paint was dry, I added my vinyl lettering.

Next, I painted each board a different color and waited until the paint was dry.
Then, I carefully removed the vinyl and sanded each board.
I wrapped a couple piece of jute around the bottom piece and then tied a knot. Then, I repeated that with the next 3 boards, and finally tied a knot at the top for hanging.
Simple and cute. I can already see an autumn one in the future…stayed tuned!
