HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED

HERE’S WHAT YOU DO

STEP 1: DOWNLOAD THE FREE PNG FILE

The first thing you’ll need to do is get the free PNG file you’ll use for this project.  I keep all the files I use for the projects I make in my SVG Library.  These files work with Cricut and Silhouette machines, as well as many others.  This library is open to everyone and is free!  You can access the library here. Look for the file called Magical Reindeer Food BA2408. It will be listed under the Craftmas 2024 Category-Day 8.

STEP 2: PRINT AND CUT THE CARDSTOCK PIECES

Open the designs in your software program.  Since this is a Print and Cut project, there’s not an SVG file in the zip folder.  There is just a PNG file and that’s what you’ll use for this project. Resize the height on both designs to 5″. Let the width adjust proportionally. Print the designs on white cardstock and then use your machine to cut them out.

Once the cardstock is finished cutting, remove it from the cutting mat.  You’ll want to slightly bend the cutting mat and carefully pull off the cardstock.

STEP 3: ASSEMBLE

Add some glue to the back of the cardstock with the cutouts. Don’t put any glue on the outer circle cutouts.

Glue the front layer to the back layer.

After the glue has dried, fold up the tabs.

Add some oats and Christmas sprinkles to a bowl and mix up.

Fill a tiny glass jar with the mixture.

Slide the jar through the slots and center it.

And that’s it.  This is so cute to give to kids to add a little magic to Christmas Eve!
