There are so many cute ideas for St. Patrick’s day using Skittles, Rainbow Twizzlers, and other bright colorful candy. Sadly, my husband doesn’t like any of that candy, but he does love chocolate.
Luckily (no pun intended), I found these cute chocolate gold nuggets that are perfect to make a pot of gold.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED
- Small Pot
- Paint (I used black spray paint)
- Vinyl (I used lime-tree green)
- Chocolate Nuggets or Gold Coins
- Transfer Tape
- Electronic cutter (cricut explore, silhouette or other cutter)
- Cut File (available for free in my resource library)
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO
Paint your pot black. I used black spray paint so it was quick and easy. You can find cheap pots all over the place. I found mine at Dollar Tree.
While the paint is drying, cut out the vinyl decal. Weed away the excess vinyl and apply the transfer tape. Once the paint has dried, apply the vinyl to the pot. Then fill with chocolate nuggets or gold chocolate coins.
Such a quick and easy gift!
This is adorable! I'm going to have to invest in a Silhouette so that I can make these kind of cool vinyl appliques!
What a cute gift idea! I love it!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this design…where can I purchase it?!?!
