Since next week is the fourth of July, it means fireworks, parades, and more fireworks. It also means my kids have been asking what I’m going to put on their shirts this year.
I’ve been creating a patriotic stamp
similar to this one, so I’ve been working a lot with the
“grunge” look. Well, I thought it would be cool to add the look to a t-shirt
using heat press vinyl. My design was only 7″, so I was a little worried about my machine cutting the small pieces. I tried it on a piece of scrap vinyl first, just to be sure it would work.

It took a little extra time to weed out the little pieces, but I love how it makes the letters look old and worn out.
You can see how I apply multiple colors of heat press vinyl here.
This is so cool and I love the grunge look. Very creative! Thanks for sharing. I wanted to invite you to come over to my blog and join the challenge this week. The challenge is Red, White and Blue. The link up begins tomorrow, Wednesday so come on over!!!!
You just might win!
